The name of the event

As listed in the History page, the contest was originally meant to be called 'Our Music', but was renamed before the contest was launched and is since defined as 'The Song'. In the past, the hashtag #thesong was used, but now, 'The Song' is preferred.

 

Using the logo and theme artwork

The Song logo and theme artwork can be used by the Members in their national or internal selections. Application of the logo and theme artwork should be in line with brand guidelines on this page.

 

The logo

The logo may be used in black or in white on a sufficiently dark background. Do not morph, distort the logo or make it too small. 

 

Typography

'The Song' words are a custom-made font. No other characters other than those in the words 'The Song' are available. The line mentioning the host city is set in Futura Medium and the event year is set in Futura Light. Body type is set in Rubik, which is freely available on Google Fonts. Montserrat is used only for headings which is also freely available on Google Fonts.

 

Theme artwork

Every season has its own artwork along with the official event logo including a visual symbol and a theme slogan.
